Webtales IT Solutions is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Web Developer Intern in Navi Mumbai who is eager to build a strong career in web development. This Web Development Internship is ideal for fresh graduates who want hands-on experience in developing web-based platforms, building dynamic websites, and working with modern technologies such as Ruby on Rails and WordPress. What you will do
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and optimizing web-based platforms and scalable applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Develop and manage dynamic websites and CMS platforms using WordPress and related web technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reliable Ruby code following development best practices.
- Create, manage, and maintain back-end components, server-side logic, and application workflows.
- Integrate data storage solutions, manage databases, and ensure smooth data flow across applications.
- Support the development of responsive, user-friendly, and performance-driven websites and web applications.
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers and UI/UX designers to integrate user-facing elements seamlessly.
- Connect applications with web servers, APIs, and third-party services to enhance application functionality.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks efficiently.
- Support website maintenance, feature enhancements, updates, and ongoing performance improvements.
- Participate in testing, debugging, deployment, and quality assurance processes to ensure stable application delivery.
- Assist in building and maintaining servers and databases required for application functionality and scalability.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, responsiveness, and security across web platforms.
- Learn and implement industry best practices, coding standards, and modern web development methodologies.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Basic knowledge of web development concepts and programming fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails or WordPress development (preferred).
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of scalable application architecture and design principles.
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, GitHub, SVN, or Mercurial.
- Fluent in English with good communication skills.
- Fast learner with strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to work hard.
- Team player with a passion for web technologies and innovation.
