PHP Web Developer

We are hiring a skilled and experienced PHP Web Developer in Navi Mumbai to join our growing technology team at Webtales IT Solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP development, Web CMS development, server-side programming, and database management. You will be responsible for developing and managing web-based CMS platforms, ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless data exchange between server and user interfaces. This role is best suited for professionals with hands-on experience in PHP frameworks, MVC architecture, database integration, and front-end technologies, who can build secure, scalable, and high-performing web applications while maintaining high coding standards.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-performance Web CMS applications and dynamic websites using PHP and modern web technologies.
• Write clean, scalable, optimized, and maintainable PHP code following industry standards and best development practices.
• Develop efficient, reusable, and testable PHP modules and components for web applications.
• Design, develop, and manage CMS-based web solutions using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Yii, or similar technologies.
• Implement MVC architecture and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to build scalable web applications.
• Manage server-side logic, database architecture, application workflows, and overall system performance.
• Integrate front-end elements developed by UI/UX teams into applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, or React.
• Integrate multiple data sources, third-party APIs, and databases into a unified and efficient system.
• Design and maintain database schemas that support business processes and application functionality.
• Implement secure user authentication, authorization, and access control systems across applications and environments.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, accessibility, and responsiveness for enhanced user experience.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and architectural challenges.
• Implement and manage data storage solutions while ensuring smooth data exchange and system reliability.
• Maintain version control using Git and follow collaborative development workflows and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, front-end developers, and project managers for seamless project execution.
• Ensure smooth deployment, ongoing maintenance, updates, and support for web applications and CMS platforms.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Minimum Graduate).
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in PHP web development or CMS development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (Laravel, Yii, or similar).
• Understanding of MVC design patterns and object-oriented PHP programming.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, or React.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and database management.
• Strong understanding of web security practices and PHP/web server vulnerabilities.
• Experience in building scalable and secure web applications.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools like Git.
• Knowledge of WordPress development will be an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving ability and good communication skills.
