Webtales IT Solutions is hiring an experienced and career-focused Senior Software Testing Engineer (Automation) in Navi Mumbai to strengthen our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation testing, manual testing, performance testing, and API testing, with hands-on experience using automation tools such as Selenium and SpecFlow.
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in the software development lifecycle by ensuring high-quality product releases. You will conduct automated and manual testing, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to deliver reliable and scalable software solutions.
What you will do
- Perform manual and automation testing for web, mobile, and API-based applications
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks for web and API testing
- Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test scripts
- Create risk-based testing strategies to identify vulnerabilities
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project support teams
- Execute test cases across multiple environments
- Identify business requirements, analyze system specifications
- Write detailed bug reports, maintain test documentation
- Review technical documentation, functional requirements, and user stories
- Monitor software quality standards
- Participate in release planning, regression testing cycles
- Troubleshoot and resolve testing-related issues
- Present testing findings, quality reports, and risk assessments
- Provide objective feedback and improvement recommendations
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA methodologies
- Manage multiple testing projects simultaneously
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Software Testing
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing
- Strong knowledge of Selenium, SpecFlow, and API Automation
- Proven experience in functional, regression, and performance testing
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation and reporting abilities
- Self-motivated team player who can work independently with minimal supervision
