Webtales IT Solutions is hiring an experienced Sr. WordPress Developer in Navi Mumbai with strong expertise in Core WordPress development, custom website development, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable WordPress websites, managing WordPress multisite networks, and optimizing website performance using Google Page Speed best practices. This role requires strong knowledge of PHP, custom WordPress theme development, and frontend integration. You will be responsible for developing high-performance websites, transforming design concepts into functional platforms, and ensuring seamless user experience through optimized and scalable solutions.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance WordPress websites using PHP and modern web development practices.
- Develop custom WordPress themes, plugins, and functionalities tailored to business and client requirements.
- Manage and maintain WordPress multisite architecture and global content modules for scalable website management.
- Convert PSD, Figma, or design layouts into fully functional, responsive, and user-friendly WordPress websites.
- Implement responsive, SEO-friendly, secure, and high-performing websites optimized for all devices and browsers.
- Optimize WordPress websites for Google Page Speed performance, technical SEO, and enhanced user experience.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, and project teams for seamless integration and execution.
- Integrate front-end elements and interactive components developed by design and frontend teams into WordPress platforms.
- Maintain and enhance existing WordPress websites through updates, feature enhancements, and performance improvements.
- Ensure website performance, scalability, security, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Follow clean coding practices, scalable architecture, testing procedures, and deployment best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues, plugin conflicts, and website performance bottlenecks.
- Maintain high-quality coding standards and ensure efficient, reusable, and maintainable code structure across projects.
What we are looking for
- Graduate in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Core WordPress Development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and WordPress architecture.
- Experience with WordPress multisite network development.
- Expertise in custom WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Experience in Google Page Speed optimization and performance enhancement.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Ability to convert design layouts (PSD/Figma) into WordPress websites.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
